Alex Horne & The Horne Section took to the stage to host the 2024 Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards.
While this year’s Northamptonshire Education Awards proved a glittering celebration of the passion, dedication and achievements of hundreds of people throughout the county’s education sector, it was also a moment to recognise the other side of nurturing and developing our young learners.
More than 450 guests – made up of finalists, their friends and colleagues, sponsors, judges and invited guests – gathered at The County Ground, home of Northamptonshire County Cricket, to hear the winners announced. Schools, teams and individuals proudly stepped up to receive their awards and share their successes.
The Northamptonshire Education Awards were launched, with Matthew Burton from Educating Yorkshire as host, and nine awards up for grabs.
Despite attempts to stage the second Northamptonshire Education Awards in person during 2020, the pandemic and ever-changing guidelines saw the awards move online.
Matthew Burton once again joined us for the 2021 ceremony, which saw the Northamptonshire education sector back together in the same room to celebrate their achievements.
By 2022, with the Northamptonshire Education Awards established in the calendar, and with 13 awards up for grabs and a new record attendance, dancer, choreographer and TV personality Louie Spence joined us as host for the evening.
Broadcasting legend Eamonn Holmes was in town for the 2023 Northamptonshire Education Awards, announcing the winners and entertaining a record audience for the education awards.
